FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Can I just turn up to a class without registering or booking online?
Some classes are busy and we recommend that you register online so you secure your place. Busy classes tend to be Monday morning and evening, Tuesday evening and sometimes Saturday and Sunday mornings. If you are unable to register atleast arrive 10min earlier.
I don’t have a yoga mat, do you supply mats?
Yes we have all the equipment you need for your yoga practice including; mats, bolsters, blankets, eye pillows and meditation stools. There is no hire fee for the use of this equipment.
I have purchased my initial pass and am ready to buy a new pass, can I do this online?
If you have attended the studio previously you will have an account in MindBody. Use the same email address you provided when the teacher registered you and go to our website or the MindBody App and request a password reset and you will be sent an email where you can then set a password to access your existing account (please don’t create another account as we have to then merge the two accounts).
There is a group of us attending yoga, can we register under one name?
No, you each need to individually register through our website or directly through the Mind Body App. If you have problems registering then arrive at least 10min earlier so the teacher can register you at the door.
Is there parking at the studio?
The yoga studio is located behind The Health Lodge which you access through the Health Lodge carpark. On the weekend or for evening classes its fine to use The Health Lodge carpark if there is room BUT please do not use the staff carpark out the very back or block the access that goes down beside The Health Lodge building.
Where is the studio located?
It’s on the southern side of town when you are coming in from Suffolk Park. Go past the High School and it’s on the left. Look for The Health Lodge and the studio is around the back of the building (access through the carpark).
Are yoga classes at Bamboo Yoga suitable for beginners?
This question will depend on a few things like what is your age and do you have any injuries or illnesses. At the moment we don’t have any beginner specific classes but generally, the Yang to Yin, Yin classes and Hatha Flow are suitable for beginners. We can organise private classes if that appeals to you. Please send us an email if you have any specific questions or concerns.
